Hello All,

All-County - Great job to all of our students who participated in the SRC All-County Band. You represented MHS well and made incredible music!

Indoor Competition - This Saturday is the first Indoor competition of the season.  This will take place at Pace High School.  Please make sure you communicate with Chandler and/or Coach Jac with any questions.  See performance times below.  Admission for all Indoor competitions is Cash $15.00, Credit Card $18.00, Age 5 & Under Free, Age 65 & Up Free.  We encourage all that can to come out and support our awesome students!

FBA February S&E - FBA S&E is right around the corner.  Ms. Julia will be coming in at various times to practice with those students that have her as your accompanist.  Please make sure that you find time to practice all Solos and Ensembles.  Students will need to organize practice sessions either before school, after school, or at homes.  Please make sure you talk to us about any planned after school practices so we can plan as well.  We should have the performance schedule soon.  Students, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ORIGINALS OF ALL MUSIC.  Also, make sure you turn in your piano parts to the box in front of the office.

Band Fees - Now that the new year and second semester is upon us, it is time to make the final payments for all band and indoor fees.  All accounts have been updated with the BPA incentive volunteer discount.  Payments can be made online or directly to the money box.  If using checks to make separate payments to various fees, please use separate checks per fee.  It is imperative that all fees are paid ASAP.

Rehearsal Visitors - Over the next several weeks, we will have various visitors with us to listen to Concert and Symphonic bands, both during and after school.  It is imperative that all students are in class and at all rehearsals so we can take advantage of these master band directors, both current and retired.

That is all for now.  We hope you have a wonderful week!

Hello all,

All-State - A big CONGRATULATIONS to Josiah Hall for a wonderful concert at the 2026 FMEA All-State convention.  The HS Symphonic Band played some very challenging pieces and Josiah represented well.  Great Job!

All-County - I want to invite everyone to the SRC All-County concert this Saturday at the Milton High School Auditorium at 2pm.  This is a FREE concert featuring the top musicians in Santa Rosa County for middle and high schools.  Come on out and share the experience of two wonderful performances.

Calendar Fundraiser - We have started the calendar fundraiser this month! Students can raise funds to their band accounts by selling days of the week.
