WOW!! Way to go all students and parents of the Mighty Black & Gold!! The Blackwater Classic was a HUGE success from the performance all the way to all volunteers. Everyone rocked it! Students, OUTSTANDING performance. Student volunteers, way to go! Parent volunteers, THANK YOU. Everyone involved made the 2024 BC amazing event. What a band! Thank you to all. Our BPA board will be adding up everything and will give us a profit report soon. WE received countless complements from so many people about the great organization and wonderful hospitality of everything. One of our judges was even astonished at our students yelling for the bands. He said, "it did his heart good". Thank you thank you thank you to all. FBA Marching MPA - This Saturday is the second marching band festival for the MB&G. Please see the itinerary below. We are planning to watch and support as many bands as possible on that day. This will be at Tate HS and tickets are $10. Students, please plan to wear your claw/leadership shirts on Saturday. You may wear any MHS band or black shirt for the game on Friday. Sweet Season BPA Concessions Sales - The BPA will is selling concessions at Sweet Seasons farms in North Milton. This is a family friendly fun event occurring each weekend until the beginning of November. We need your help with to make these days successful. Parents and students may sign-up on CutTime. Please be reminded that you must work your entire shift. Please see any of our BPA board for more details. The address for the farm is 2260 Horn Rd, Milton, FL 32570 FFCC Marching Band Competition - We still have not received our schedule for this. As soon as we get that, we will make an itinerary. This is our final marching band competition on October 19th. Santa Rosa County Marching Band Exhibition - This will be held at Navarre HS on Tuesday, October 22nd at 6pm-9pm. All of the high schools in Santa Rosa will be performing at this. This performance is simply a celebration of all of the students and will show off to each other. Parents are welcome to attend as well. Tri-M Induction Ceremony - Mr. Coots has been working hard on putting together the Tri-M induction ceremony. This will take place at the auditorium Wednesday at 6pm. Please plan to wear nice clothes for this. Think Sunday's best. There will be performances given throughout as well.
