Here is all of the info so far about the Pensacola Parade this Saturday:

When: Saturday, December 10th
Time: 4pm-Call Time, 5:30-Parade Start
Where: See attached map, Park at Wahoo Stadium parking lot, Meet at north end of parking lot
What to wear: Full Uniform minus helmets, wear Christmas hats and lights/decorations

CLICK HERE for a map for all locations of parade this Saturday.  Call time is 4pm, BUT I will highly encourage everyone to get there by 3:45 to ensure you have a parking spot or that you will be able to be at the Wahoo stadium in time.  As noted, we will meet at the north end of the parking lot.  From there, we will walk to W Romana Street and line-up.  Once we are lined-up, we should have enough time to mingle with the other bands and maybe look through the floats.  There are a total of 10 bands participating this year; Milton HS, Washington HS, Pine Forest HS, Pace HS, Helen Cox HS from New Orleans, Pensacola HS, Escambia HS, Tate HS, Warrington MS, and West Florida HS. We are the 5th band in the line-up. I was informed that we are between the Dreamland Skate Park float and the Viking Mystics Float.  These are entries number 37 and 38. There are a total of 110 entries, including floats and bands. This means are within the first 1/3 of the parade. I estimate that our step-off time will be around 5:45 to 6pm. See map for parade route. If you are spectating the parade and want to see the us twice, i suggest you station yourself at the north end of Palafox where we will loop around and head south.  If you want the best sound and most congestion, the south end of Palafox is where to go.  WKRG (CBS) will also be broadcasting the parade with commentary. The parade ends at Main Street.  We will walk back to the Wahoo stadium from there and dismiss.  The Wahoo Stadium will be the drop off and pick-up location.  The estimated end time for us is around 6:45 to 7pm.

Pensacola Christmas Parade - This Saturday is the Pensacola Parade.  This is a required performance. Remember, we will be meeting at the Wahoo Stadium parking lot at 4pm.  You are welcome to get there earlier if you would like. Simply park, then find the grouping of Milton uniforms.  The parade itself starts at 5:30pm.  The route begins at Garden Street West of Palafox, then goes north on Palafox, then back south all the way down Palafox to Main Street.  Once we get to the end, we will walk back to the Wahoo Stadium and dismiss from there.  Students will need to be dropped off and picked up at the Wahoo Stadium.  Students, please deck yourselves out again in lights and decorations! :-)
