All-State Auditions - Congratulations to all of the students that auditioned for All-State Saturday! These students worked hard and improved so much simply by putting yourselves on the line and go through this audition process. Thank you to the student workers that helped make that a success. Also, thank you to all of the parents for helping out all day with food set up and other tasks. We received many compliments about how organized everything was.
Guard Yard Sale - Great job to all students and parents that participated in the Guard yard Sale this past Saturday. It was a busy busy day with lots of customers and help. Thank you to Scottie Armstrong for organizing everything.
Lumpia Due - Lumpia fundraiser forms and money are due on Tuesday September 17th. The BPA will be in the Band room all day collecting money.
Blackwater Classic - Blackwater Classic is quickly approaching along with the rest of Bandtober. We are working on putting together a performance schedule of bands for that day. This is October 5th. Please remember that students will need to be at the school all day. We will rehearse that morning, then watch/support all of the visiting bands. We will be performing at the end of the night right before the University of South Alabama Marching Band I will send out an exact schedule as soon as it is available. If you are interested in helping out for this event, please email Nicole Humber at [email protected] or Arlene Wires at [email protected] for more info.
Blackwater Classic - Thursday September 19th will be the next Blackwater Classic Committee meeting starting at 6 pm in classroom 131. We are 3 weeks away and have a lot to do. Even if you are not on the committee I encourage all parents to attend. We are still in need of lots of volunteers. Hope to see everyone there.
BPA Student Meals on Friday - Student meals on Friday will be from 3:30-4:15 in the classroom. Choices will be: Nachos, Tacos - choice of soft Tacos, Doritos with taco meat, taco salad and regular salad. Drinks and cookies and brownies.
