Welcome back! I hope everyone has had a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break. We are now in the home stretch to the end of the school year. Please make sure you stay up to date with everything.
Band Trip - Believe it or not, we leave Monday for Universal! CALL TIME IS 7:30AM!!
Winterguard - We are extremely proud of our JV and Varsity Winterguards. Both competed at the Robertsdale HS competition this past Saturday. The Varsity earned 3rd place in their class and the JV earned 1st in their class!
GCGPC Championships - If you have yet to see our indoor groups, you are really missing out. They have also had outstanding performances these past few months at competitions. You have one final chance to see them at West FL HS this Saturday for the GCGPC Championships. See performance times below. Tickets are $15 cash or $18 for credit cards at the door. Come on out let's cheer for our guard and percussion.
Panther/Concert/Symphonic Rehearsals - These groups will begin weekly after school rehearsals the week after the band trip. Please look at the calendar and infor below and make sure you know when and wear to be. Symphonic sectionals also begin that same week.
Leadership/Year Bar/Scholarship/Last Will Info - All of this will be passed out after we return from the band trip. We are looking to potentially have a leadership class for all of the candidates that are applying for leadership. This may be taking place Saturday, April 18th or that week after school. More info will be provided once we have our guest speaker locked in.
FBA State Virtual Solo & Ensemble - Next Monday, March 30th, we will be hosting the FBA State S&E for only our MHS band students that have chosen to participate. These performances will take place in the band hall beginning at 5:30. We will be recording these performances, then sending to state-level adjudicators, then receiving feedback and ratings. All performances are open to the public. All performers are reminded to dress up in professional performing attire for this. Come on out and have a listen and support these students.
