Hello All,

I hope you are very well on this second week of the new semester! Things are gearing up as normal with the addition of All County this week.  Please be aware that all All County Band rehearsals and performances are required by the participants.  Missed rehearsals and/or performances will forfeit your chair in the ensemble.  

We need all fair share payments up to date now! We still have several bills to pay from marching season for services rendered. If you play a school-owned instrument, we will be posting the school-owned instrument fee to accounts soon if they haven't been posted already.  This is a $50 that is used to go towards instrument repair and maintenance.  

The Indoor Percussion in conjunction with the video game club will be hosting a video game tournament this Friday in the band room.  If you would like to simply watch the event, admission is $2.  If you would like to play in the event, it is $5.  Drinks and snack will also be available for a small price.  Come on out and get your game on! 

Finally, the BPA is beginning to add events for this semester beginning this Wednesday.  Please do your part and show your support for your child and help out the BPA and any of these events.  The BPA is our primary source to help raise funds for new uniforms and instruments and we need all the help we can get.  Please look at the calendar and sign up using the yellow "helping hand" under any of these events.  We will be going over lots of these opportunities at the monthly meeting this Tuesday at 7pm.

Hello All,

WELCOME BACK!!! Happy New Decade to everyone.  It is time for new beginnings and new goals as we roar into the 20's.  This semester is going to fly by as we have a vast number of events throughout.  This is our busiest time of the year, believe-it-or-not.  All of our ensembles will be giving various performances throughout the semester.  Every performance and rehearsal is important and required.  The big FBA Music Performance Assessments will begin towards the end of February leading up to the first week of March.  The indoor groups, guard and percussion, will be competing in several competitions around the region for the Gulf Coast Guard and Percussion Circuit.  Of course we also have the big trip to Washington DC and New York City we will be preparing for in March as well. 

Concerts, Trips, School, Graduation, getting ready for next year, all of this will make this a very busy and fun semester.  Just hold on tight and stay up to date with the calendar!
