This week we will have the first general trip meeting in over a year for the upcoming cruise trip  Please make all efforts to attend this very important meeting Tuesday night at 6:30pm as we will be going over everything you need to know about this trip and answering any questions you may have.  We will be streaming the meeting live on our YouTube page as well, however, it is strongly advised that you be there in person.  The winterguard rehearsal will be adjusted so that those students may attend the meeting. Kay Brown will be here Tuesday and Wednesday to take the individual band pictures.  If you did not the order form, I have attached it.  Please make sure you give this along with the payment to Kay Brown when you get your picture taken.  Everyone will have their picture taken whether you are ordering them or not.  These pictures will be compiled into this year's composite to go on the band room wall.  All you will need is your uniform jacket and sash.  We will provide the gauntlets and gloves.

This Saturday is our first indoor competition hosted at Tate High School.  Make sure you see John Whiddon and/or Samantha Byrd for the itinerary for Saturday.  If you would like to see a full schedule of events for this Saturday or each competition there after, just CLICK HERE. Hello All,

First I would like to congratulate all of the All-County students on a stupendous concert Friday night! All of you represented not just Milton High School well but also Santa Rosa County.  It was simply amazing what you did in only 7 hours of rehearsal.  I hope you enjoyed your time with Dr. Fraschillo and making memories with everyone.

This week we begin the after school rehearsals for all of the concert bands.  The schedule is below.  Let me remind everyone regardless of which concert or indoor group you are in, it is your responsibility to communicate with the directors about missed rehearsals.  DO NOT just miss any of these rehearsals without informing us of the reason.  All rehearsals are REQUIRED and any absence will be unexcused until an absence appeal form is turned in to Mr. Schultz the day of your return.  Work, homework, tiredness, and such are not excusable.

Trip deadlines are upon us and if you have not signed up for an excursion, you need to do so ASAP.  This deadline was last Friday.  Please sign up now by clicking HERE. You can see info about the excursions on our website by clicking HERE. The excursions payments are due January 31st.  The trip meeting is Tuesday, January 30th.  We will answer any and all questions about the trip along with the excursions and what is paying for what on that night.  It is extremely important that everyone attending the trip is present at the meeting!. If you have a credit balance in your charms account, you can use that for excursion payment, just email Mrs. Weaver at [email protected] to request to use however much credit you have for your excursion.  

If you are participating in the FBA Solo & Ensemble on February 16th, please make sure you get me the form I gave you by tomorrow morning! IF I do not receive the form, you will not be participating this year.  

Trumpets, Amazing opportunity for you!! The University of South Alabama will be hosting a trumpet day.  You have the chance to attend a masterclass by International Trumpet Guild president Cathy Leach along with the world famous Johnny Carson's Tonight show trumpeter and band leader Doc Severinsen!! There are payment deadlines for this event.  All the info along with registration can be found by clicking HERE.

Last but not least, PLEASE PAY YOUR FAIR SHARES ASAP!!! Right now, the band has 0 operating money do to some bills that have been paid from marching season and lack of fair share payments turned in.  If we do not receive these fair shares, we will be forced to cancel performances as well as the band banquet due to lack of funds.  Please go to your charms accounts and make sure you are up to date.
