Hello All,

This is the final weekly update of 2021 and until we return in January.  I hope all of you have a wonderful break and enjoy your time off. Out standing job this semester to all! 

Lumpia - Lumpia must be picked up this Tuesday.  The pick up location is Math West 131 which is right across from the band room.  We will have parents ready to hand out orders from 3:30 to 6pm.  This is the only day to pick them up.

Jazz Band Performance - The Jazz Band will perform one last time this year for all of the students in the cafeteria.  Jazz students will need to release from class at 11:30 to grab instruments and eat.  Please make sure you wear your black on Black with gold bowtie jazz uniforms.

Black Gold Percussion Ensemble - The BGPE has 2 more days of auditions this Monday and Tuesday.  If you are interested in being a part of this, you must attend these auditions.  If you missed the Friday audition, you can still show up to Monday and Tuesday.  

MHSBPA Meeting - This Tuesday at 7pm is the monthly meeting for the MHSBPA.  We will hold this meeting in Math West 131 since the band room will be used by the guard.  Please make plans to attend.

Hello All,

Christmas Concert - We have decided to move the concert location to the MHS Auditorium dur to probable inclement weather on Monday and Tuesday. We are planning to do everything as normal that we would have done outside at the normal times.  We are in the process of working with the food trucks as well and placing them closer to the auditorium.  The jazz band will perform some background music at 6pm to 6:30ish.  Please plan to come out and get in the holyday spirit. Students will wear uniforms minus gauntlets and gloves.  You may wear a Christmas hat.  

Tree Decorating - Monday at 7pm, each section will decorate their trees.  Remember, there is a cash prize from the BPA as well as a trophy to the winning section.  Anyone who does not participate in some way will not be eligible for these prizes.  

Band Christmas Party - The party is 5pm to 9pm at Sweet Seasons Farm. 2260 Horn Rd, Milton, FL 32570.   There are a ton of activities planned.  If you are riding the bus, we will meet at the band room at 4:15.  If you forgot to sign up, you can still come out! Don't forget, the winning section of the Pie FR will be pieing Mr. Weaver and I tonight! 

Secret Santa Gift - If you are planning to participate in the secret Santa gift exchange and you have not turned in a gift yet, please don't forget to bring it with you to the party.  

Concert Band Scale Pass-offs - Just another reminder about the scale pass-offs on Monday and Tuesday.  

Black Gold Percussion Ensemble - The first day of auditions is this Friday 6pm-8pm.  If you are interested in being a part of this ensemble and you didn't attend the interest meeting, you can still attend these auditions.
