Black water Classic Help Needed - Parents, WE NEED YOUR HELP with the Blackwater Classic. This is our home marching band festival on October 7th. We need as many hands on deck for this as possible. There are SEVERAL open spots on the parent volunteer sign-up. This competition will not be a success without your help. We are aware of someone signing up fake names on the list and have taken steps with Charms and with the County IT department to rectify that. Please CLICK HERE to sign up. Blackwater Classic Itinerary - The schedule is ready and the itinerary is set for BC. We will have rehearsal at 9am-Noon that Saturday. After that, students will need to be seated in our section at 3:30pm to watch and support all performing bands. Symphonic Band will need to meet in the band room at 3:15 in uniform to get ready for the National Anthem. We perform the show at 9pm. Here is the full itinerary for that day:
9am-Noon - Band Rehearsal at Football Field
3:15 - Symphonic Band Call Time
3:30 - Call Time for band in Stands
3:45-7:30 - Watch Bands
7:30 - Band Meets in Band Room
8:20-8:50 - Warm-up
9pm - PERFORM
9:15-10:15 - Watch William Carey/Awards Ceremony
10:15-11pm - Cleanup and Dismiss
Marching Band Pics - Monday, we will be taking the marching band and section pictures. Please remember to bring your uniforms to school along with helmets. We are should be done by 5:30, but that will depend how quickly we can get everything done.
Sweet Season BPA Concessions Sales - This weekend, the BPA will begin selling concessions at Sweet Seasons farms in North Milton. This is a family friendly fun event occurring each weekend until the beginning of November. We need your help with to make these days successful. Parents and students may sign-up. Please be reminded that you must work your entire shift. Below are all of the dates and sign-up links. Please see any of our BPA board for more details.
