If you are receiving this, then you successfully filled out the Milton High School Band prospective member form at our band day event earlier this week. We want to welcome you to our wonderful family we call the Mighty Black & Gold! I have attached the packet of info that we gave all students at the end of that day. Please look over it and let me know if you have any questions. We will also have a parent meeting on May 25th at 7:30 in the band room where will go over everything you will need to know with our group. In the mean time, we do have our first rehearsal this coming Monday in the band room at 6pm-8:30. This is for all new and returning band students (Winds, guard, percussion, managers). Students will need to bring their instruments and sticks. We will supply and issue marching instruments (Tubas, Euphoniums, Mellophones, Percussion, Bari Saxes) We will also issue lockers, music, and fun :-) This rehearsal is meant to give everyone a hands-on experience with the MB&G and get us all together before band camp in July. Percussion students need to make plans to attend the percussion audition camp Wed-Fri 7pm-9pm next week as well. All new students must also attend Rookie Camp on May 22nd, 24th, 25th 4pm-7pm and 26th 4pm-8pm.
I am aware of middle school spring concerts and trips and will work with those students on the dates of the conflicts.
