Hello all,
We wanted to let you know that Mr. Weaver and I are planning to live stream and host a Zoom meeting next Saturday, May 30th at 7pm for the first Virtual Award Ceremony. This will be live streamed though our YouTube and Facebook pages. You can also sit in through a live Zoom meeting throughout this event. During the Award Ceremony, we will present all of the awards that we would normally announce at the Band Banquet. This includes, Letter/Year Bar awards, BPA Scholarship recipients, Honor band awards, Band Favorites, Senior student announcements, and finally the 2020-21 Leadership Team Announcement! Of course, we wish we could present all of this in person, but for now, we wanted to make sure we honor all of our students and parents in some way. Hopefully, later this summer, we will be able to reunite everyone from this year to celebrate our achievements in person! We do not anticipate the award ceremony to be more than an hour. We are also thinking about hosting an open Zoom event starting at 6pm to 7pm to hang out and eat and chat with each other just like we would at a normal band banquet.....Except NO LINE LOL! :-) You can even dress up if you would like to get the full experience!. We will send all of the links and everything available to participate in this later. W hope that you will be able to join in some way or fashion. See you then!
