Hello everyone,
I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the delay in the lumpia delivery as well as how to get to the practice field location for band camp.
First, due to a shipping error to Mrs. Anne who makes the lumpia, it will NOT be delivered on Thursday as originally planned. The delivery has been moved back to next Tuesday, July 17th at the band room 8pm-9:30pm. Please make plans to pick this up at that time as we do not have anywhere that we can store this.
Next, I have attached a picture with directions of where we will be practicing for most of band camp. You can also CLICK HERE for the directions on our website. These football fields are located just off of Byrom Street. This is the street on which Rhodes Elementary is located as well as the Guy Thompson Community Center and the skate park. If you are traveling from the band room, take a right onto Park Avenue, then a right onto Byrom Street at the apartments and our track field. When you pass the skate park, take an immediate left into the parking lot. The fields are at the end of the walkway just after the two baseball fields. Hopefully this will be the only time this season that we will be displaced. All of this is determined by the speed at which the company that is redoing the track completes the job. I am sorry we are having to do this. If you have any questions, just ask. Thank you very much!
