Just got word that the Superintendent that all schools will be on half day schedule on Tuesday, September 4th and all after school activities are canceled. This includes the HC door meeting as well as the rehearsal. School should resume as normal on Wednesday but please stay tuned to the news and weather for further updates.

"This is Tim Wyrosdick, Superintendent of Schools with important information on Tropical Storm Gordon. The safety and welfare of our students and employees is always our greatest concern. Based on the 5 pm briefing from the National Hurricane Center Santa Rosa County will begin to experience Tropical Force winds Tuesday afternoon. After consulting with Santa Rosa County Emergency Operations Center we will dismiss school early on Tuesday and school will resume on Wednesday. Parents can find your schools dismissal time on our homepage. In addition, all after school activities will be cancelled for Tuesday evening. Any additional advisories will be distributed through local media and through Santa Rosa Facebook and Twitter. I ask you stay advised on the status of Tropical Storm Gordon as conditions may change overnight."
