This week in the Mighty Black & Gold

Well it's only been a week but it seems much longer than that.  I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving break and got plenty to eat.  We only have three weeks left of this semester, including exam week, but it will be a very busy three weeks for the entire Mighty Black & Gold.  I highly encourage you to keep up with the calendar at all the upcoming events.  Some highlights are the Christmas Concert, Christmas Parties, and Parade.  I cannot wait to see everyone again tomorrow:


Events this week:

Monday
- FINAL CALL FOR BAND TRIP PARTICIPATION
- 3:45-6pm - Concert Band Rehearsal
- 6pm-9pm - Indoor Percussion Rehearsal

Tuesday
- Honey Baked Ham FR Due
- License Plate FR Due
- 4pm-6:30 - Symphonic Band Rehearsal (Time may change due to Bring the Heat)
- 5pm-7pm - Bring the Heat Jalapeno eating competition at Whataburger in Pea Ridge

Wednesday
- 3pm-4:15 - Odd Jazz Band perform at Berryhill Manor

Thursday
- 3pm-4:15 - Even Jazz Band Performs at Forsythe House
- 6pm-9pm - Indoor Percussion Rehearsal

Friday
- 4pm-5pm - Jazz Band march in Children's Christmas parade
    - Meet at School Board Office on Canal Street @ 4pm
    - Parade ends at gazebo at Riverwalk

Saturday
- 5pm-6:45 - Milton Christmas parade
    - 4pm - 4:45 Band hall open.  IT WILL CLOSE AT 4:45
    - 5pm - Meet at Guy Thompson Community Center
    - 6pm - Parade start
    - 6:45ish parade end at Margaret Street Church of Christ
    - You may decorate instruments and person as long as you can play and march
    - Please secure some kind of Santa Hat for parade
    - We will wear concert black uniforms with santa hats
