Hello All,
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR MAKING THE 2ND ANNUAL BLACKWATER CLASSIC A HUGE SUCCESS!! We have received so many complements from band directors and spectators alike about how well ran the event was. This could not have happened without your help. We have estimated that we made a total of $15,000 before expenses. We will have exact numbers for you at the BPA meeting next Tuesday. I want to give our students a huge shout out for performing the best run of the year so far. We still have work to do but We are all super proud of what you have accomplished so far.
This week is a busy week of performances and rehearsals as it is the wonderful week of homecoming. Please make sure you look at the schedule below very carefully. There you will see not just the times to meet, but also what to wear. Parents, below are links of way that you can get involved this week. Please sign up as you are able.

Show shirts are in! If you ordered a show shirt, please make your payment and we will give you your shirt. I will start selling these shirt to those that are willing to purchase one this week, so if you ordered one, please come and get it.
THE KNIFE FUNDRAISER IS DUE THIS THURSDAY! Please make sure everything is filled out correctly and turn this in on Thursday.
We will be taking our group band and section pics on Monday at 5pm. Please make sure you bring your uniforms to school either in the morning or in the afternoon. You do not need your helmets. Section Leaders, please make sure you have a design for your section pics BEFORE we start. We will have rehearsal in the stadium immediately following the pictures.
FBA Marching MPA is on Saturday, October 14th. I have posted the itinerary on the calendar. Here is the itinerary just so you can plan:
11am-12:30 - Rehearsal
2:45 - Meet in Band Room to leave
3pm - Depart for Tate HS
4pm - Arrive/Unload THS
5:30 - Warm-up
6:30 - PERFORMANCE
6:45-7:40 - Watch Bands
8pm - Award Ceremony
9pm - Load Truck
9:30 - Depart for MHS
10:30 - Arrive/ Unload MHS
10:45ish - Dismiss
Finally, I have attached the dress up days for this week. Students, I encourage you to participate in each day and get into this week. It can be fun if you let it.
