Hello All,
What a phenomenal concert Friday night!!! Our students really pulled out all of the stops for this one and we could not be more proud of all of them! It always amazes me how much progress our students make throughout the year. You proved just special all of you are with your hard work and talent on display Friday! Way to go Mighty Black & Gold! I want all of you to know how gracious and blessed I am to be able to teach the most amazing students around! Thank you for everything you do! I will be posting the video at some point today
Now it's time to look ahead to the next things. The year is quickly rapping up and we will be at Rookie Camp before you know it. This Thursday we will have our senior signing day where at least 6 or more of our seniors will be signing commitments to perform in band at the college of their choice. We will have representatives from those colleges on hand for each of these seniors. This is exactly like an athletic signing event. The Jazz band will kick everything off at 6:15. Attendance is required for students.
Next week on the 17th we will host our incoming 9th graders for band day. This will take place in the morning in the band hall. The itinerary can be found on the charms calendar.
The Bud Bell Band Banquet is next Saturday the 20th. The banquet committee has been rapidly getting everything ready to celebrate the successes of the year. Please make sure all fair shares are paid before the banquet. Here is the paperwork that is due from students:
