I hope everyone is doing well. Please read through the following for this week's events in the MB&G.
Instrument Inventory - All school-owned instruments and equipment MUST be returned on Tuesday this week. The county will be doing the inventory check on Wednesday. Students will be able to take back these instruments by Wednesday afternoon.
FBA Solo and Ensemble/Percussion Ensemble performances - This Monday at 4pm in the auditorium, several of our students will be recording for the April FBA solo and ensemble MPA. These recordings will take place in the auditorium. Anyone is welcome to come watch. We will be compiling all of these recordings into a virtual performance as well as submitting each of these for FBA. The percussion students will also be performing and recording 2 pieces they have been working up this semester.
BPA Scholarship Apps and Last Will - Seniors, please CLICK HERE to find all of the information about the BPA senior Scholarship and Last Will,
Leadership Applications - Leadership applications will be available this week. All students interested in one of the leadership positions for 2021-22 will need to go through the application process. More info will be presented later this week. I will let everyone know that the applications will be online, but the interviews will be in person.
BPA Board Nominations - Do you want to take a more active role in supporting the students of the MB&G? The why not run for one of the positions on the Band Parent Association Board? Here is your chance to help out in extraordinary ways. The BPA is accepting nominations for the 2021-22 BPA Board. This board will begin duties in June of this year. All of the information you need can be found at the following link along with the nominations form. We will take nominations right up until the vote at the April Monthly BPA Meeting on Tuesday, April 13th. CLICK HERE to access the form. Is you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email us.
BPA Monthly Meeting - This Tuesday is the April BPA monthly meeting. If you want to stay in touch with the latest from the BPA and the band, please make sure you attend this meeting. We will also be voting for next year's BPA board. This will be in person as well as held over Zoom meeting. That info can be found below:

All-County - Congratulations to all of the students that made the All-County Band. Please be aware that these rehearsals begin this Thursday. The concert will take place in the gym at 2pm. All are invited to attend this FREE concert.
