PLEASE GET FAIR SHARES IN NOW!!!! THANK YOU!
Congratulations to all of our students who participated in the honor bands around the area this weekend! I've heard lots a great stories from everyone and I know the concerts were wonderful!
Also great job to our indoor groups this past Saturday. All of them competed at Tate HS for the first competition of the year. Now that the first one is in the books, time to fix, clean and repeat as we push forward and upward to the next show which is at Choctaw HS this Saturday.
If you missed the trip meeting this past week, you may access the video and handouts on our trip page by clicking HERE. Please watch the video and read the handouts BEFORE you ask your questions as the answer will most likely be in either of those. The next trip meeting will be for all chaperones February 20th at 6:30 in the band hall. After that, the next meetings are on March 6th.
The schedule has been post for FBA Solo & Ensemble. Go to the home page of our website to access the schedule for those that are participating in this event.
The itineraries and performance times for FBA Jazz MPA and FBA Concert MPA have also been posted. I have made a working itinerary on the event links on the charms calendar. Just click either event link in the calendar and you will be able to see the itinerary in the details section of the event.
WE NEED YOUR HELP. The 3rd annual crawfish festival is nearing and we still have PLENTY of openings for vendors. This has been a popular event over the past 2 years and we are looking to make this one the biggest yet! This is becoming one of the biggest fundraisers for the MHSBPA who, in turn, helps support our students. We need vendors. I have attached a vendor application. Please use this at will. Hand it out to whoever you can. There is also an online form on our website at the following link:

Trumpets, I HIGHLY encourage you to attend trumpet day at the University of South Alabama this Saturday. Doc Severinsen and Cathy Leach will be the clinicians for this event. More info can be found by clicking HERE. This is probably a once in a lifetime event with Doc Severinsen.
That is all for now. I hope everyone has a spectacular week!
