Hello All,
Congratulations and a huge shout out to all of the participants in the FBA Solo & Ensemble MPA this past Saturday. We had a total of 3 ensembles and 4 solo entries with all of our solo entries earning Superior ratings and our ensembles earning excellent. Thank you for participating and you are better musicians, now, because of this!
Our indoor groups have been going strong over the past three weeks. Both groups have proven themselves as contenders in our circuit with the guard having an outstanding performance at Robertsdale HS last week and the percussion and guard at Escambia the week before! These students are making us proud and representing MHS well! You can see both groups in performance at Pace HS this Saturday. Times are below.
Please take note that lumpia FR are due this Wednesday. Please make sure you turn them in by the end of panther band rehearsal at 5:30. We cannot accept late orders!
Finally, Concert MPA is 2 weeks from this Thursday! Again, concert MPA is 2 week from this Thursday!! Students, it is getting down to the nitty-gritty with your music. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU ARE PRACTICING YOUR CONCERT MUSIC EVERYDAY!!!!!! Parents, please please please make sure your child is practicing everyday. We need your help in keeping them motivated to practice. 5 minutes a day goes a long way to helping the whole band.
