Hello All,
Rookie Camp is upon us and we can't be more excited. Our leadership is geared up and ready to go after our wonderful camp this weekend! This camp is for all rookies and students who have not participated in marching band as of yet. Returning members may attend, however, you must attend for the full time for whatever day you attend. Please make sure you STAY HYDRATED and EAT BREAKFAST! Don't forget the sunscreen as well. The schedule for each day is below. There will be a lunch break from 12pm-1pm each day. You can either bring a lunch or take advantage of the free lunch program at the cafeteria.
Percussion camp is also this week and next week. All percussionists must attend both rookie camps and percussion camps
Color Guard will be attending rookie camp as well this year and we are excited for this! The colorguard camp will be next week June 12th - 15th from 8am-2pm. Please not that it ends at 2pm NOT 12pm. There was a misprint on the hard copy of the calendars.
Finally, new parents are asked to attend the new parent meeting on Monday at 6:30. We would like to get to know our new friends and go over all of the info you could possibly need for the Mighty Black & Gold Band. If any returning parents would like to attend as well, by all means come on out!
