Hello All,
Well, marching season is officially over with the Christmas parade behind us. Great job to all! to the BPA, the float looked outstanding. Thank you for all of our parent help as well!
This Thursday, the Panther Band, Concert Band, Blackwater Beats Jazz Band, and the Symphonic Band will be in performance at the Christmas concert. We will kick off the show at 6:30 in the MHS auditorium. This is FREE! Please invite everyone you can.
Several of our students will also be in performance Tuesday night at the chorus concert. This concert is in the auditorium as well and will begin at 6:30. I encourage everyone to come out and support, Jordan Harris, Siera Turpin, Alyssa Welch, Justin Wilkins, Kaleeya Laraunt, Colleen Coy, Anna Coy, as well as Adeline Belova on Flute and several of our percussionists. along with the rest of the chorus.
If you get a chance, stop by the Waffle House on Avalon Boulevard. There you will see some holiday artwork from Katie Kilgore and the MHS art society on the windows.
The band Christmas party is this Friday. Students, if you would like to participate in the secret Santa gift exchange, please acquire a gift of a minimum of $5. This can be a serious or funny gift or everything in between.
This semester is quickly winding down. Students, now is the time to make sure that all school work is caught up and you get all the help you can for the upcoming semester exams. Only 2 more weeks.
