Hello All,
It's here! We have finally entered the competition season for the marching band. Over the next month we will be pushing hard to clean and make ready the show for each of the 3 competitions beginning with our very own festival, the 2nd annual Blackwater Classic Marching Band Festival this Saturday. It is very important that everyone makes sure you stay up to date with the schedule during this time as we will have many added events disbursed throughout.
Our new band truck has finally arrived! Come out and see it when you get a chance. This truck represents numerous hours of hard work by our BPA, countless shish kabob meat stickings and sales, 2 crawfish festivals and a marching band festival. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. It so so good to see the fruits of everyone's labor.
Parents, this Friday is our first home game in a while and we need your help in the concession stand as well as chaperoning the students. Please sign up using the links below:

Seniors, please make sure you turn in your senior script by this Wednesday. Parents and those escorting the seniors need to be ready by the band section in the football stadium by 6:55. You might want to plan to get there a little earlier than that to make sure you can park and buy your ticket.
Parents, your show shirts have arrived! I will have them ready to pock up at the end of rehearsal tomorrow. Please be patient as we get these to you. Remember, they are $12 per shirt. For those that ordered the gold chaperone shirts, those are here as well. Please turn in your money and we will get these to you on Monday.
Did you know that the Blackwater Classic is this Saturday? Well, if you haven't heard, THE BLACKWATER CLASSIC IS THIS SATURDAY!!!! I am so excited to be hosting 12 bands from around the area. I'm even more excited for these bands to see what awesome students and parents we have! Parents, we need your help. There are still plenty of slots available to volunteer. The concession stand in particular has numerous spots available. Please click the links below and sign-up. This is a BPA incentive qualifying event. You can work off some of the band fair share just by helping out. Without your help, this event will not be a success. All BC Volunteers need to plan to attend the volunteers meeting this Thursday 6:45-7:45 to do a walk through of the grounds. You do not need to attend this if you are signed up for the concessions.
