Hello all,
Pace Game - Congratulations on making it through our first game of the season!! Our students truly "brought the party" and played their tales off! Thank you so much for keeping that torch lit and exploding into our new season. I also want to thank and congratulate all of our awesome parents who worked the concessions stand! Ya'll were quite busy all night with lines and eager fans. We've never had to divert the band on a slightly new path at the march-in because of lines at our concessions. That was a very good situation to be in :-). Maybe next week we will need to do the same. Remember, more lines equals more customers, equals more profit to support the band. After School Rehearsals - Beginning next week, all of the ensembles except for the jazz band will have after school rehearsals to get ready for our concert on October 29th. Guard is included with this. Please make sure you look at the calendar by CLICKING HERE or the "looking ahead to next week" schedule below to see what days these will take place.
Uniform Fittings - Also next week, we will be fitting all new wind and percussion students for their band uniforms. These will take place immediately after the marching band rehearsal on October 13th. This is for marching AND non marching band members. They should only take within an hour for all students to finish or about 5 minutes per student. Students will need to try on the jacket, bibbers, and shoes. Any returning member that is in need of a new uniform part will also need to stay for these fittings. This year, I will be sending out a link to you so you will order the bibbers and shoes directly from the company. You can view these links below if you would like to get familiar with the websites. We will give each student their sizes for the shoes and bibbers so you will know exactly what to order. If you know your shoe size, you can go ahead and get these.

Help Needed - Parents, we need your help at the football games. As stated above, the concession standis a major part of the BPA and the band program. With the season the way it is, fans will be lining up in droves to purchase our shish-ka-bobs and other items. That area cannot stay open if we do not have help. Please consider signing up to work at the concessions stand at the games. Remember, concession sales help support the BPA and the BPA supports our students. So please help support our students.

Sweet Season Farms BPA Event - Students and parents are welcome to come out and help the BPA at the Sweet Season Farms events for the next several weekends. Every Saturday and Sunday, the BPA will be selling concessions at Sweet Season Farms. Students may earn volunteer hours for these events. Everyone will need to sign up using the yellow helping hand symbol on the events. Below, you can sign up directly for the event this Saturday and Sunday.

Freshmen/JV Game - This week, unless they decide to cancel, the Freshmen/JV will play their first home game of the season. All pep band B, all guard and percussion are required to perform. Any marching band student not in these groups may join us as well. Please see the itinerary below.
Ft Walton game this Friday - Please be aware that the call time for this Friday is 6:15 NOT 6:30. We will need to get to the stadium earlier this week since it is the football/cheer senior night.
Band Senior Night - Band Senior night is Friday, October 23rd. Seniors will be receiving a form from us to fill out and return. Please start planning now as to who will be attending and escorting your senior on the field. Please limit this to family members only.
