CONGRATULATIONS to the Mighty Black & Gold Marching Band on completing another successful competition season! Our students earned straight superiors at all 3 of the events this year and we could not be more proud of them! It is hard to believe that the hard work that we we have been putting in since May has almost come to a close. By no means are we done. Just moving on to the next great thing with the Mighty Black & Gold! Here are the remaining events for the marching band:
10-25 - Full Marching Band Rehearsal
10-26 - Pace vs Milton Game
10-30 - Rhodes Elementary Parade
11-1 - Final Marching Band Rehearsal
11-2 - Pine Forest vs Milton Game
11-12 - Veterans Day Parade
12-1 - Milton Christmas Parade
5-2 - Marching Band Rehearsal
5-3 - Spring Concert Showcase
Please make plans to go to the Whataburger "Bring the Heat" Battle of the Bands Monday night from 5pm-7:30. We need as many Milton folks as possible to give us a better chance at winning the attendance award. Also, our drumline will battle it out with Pace's drumline leading up to the jalapeno eating contest. Cat Country will broadcast live on site!
Seniors, please make sure you turn in your Senior Night forms by Wednesday. Senior parents are asked to be ready to go next to the band section by 6:55.
