Hello All,
All-County Concert - What a wonderful concert by all of the All-County participants! Way to go to all and way to represent music in our county. I am very proud of all of our students that were apart of this awesome honor band. You guys rocked!
Marching Band Picture - Set a reminder now to bring all helmets and other uniform parts to school on Monday for the marching band picture retake. We will begin this at 4pm and end around 4:30.
Basketball Game - We will be performing at the Varsity basketball game this Monday. This is not required uless you signed up to go. Make sure you wear summer uniform. Call time is 6pm. We should be done by 8:30ish.
Guard floor painting - The winterguard is needing to finish painting the performance floor. All winterguard students need to plan to stay after pictures to do this. Make sure you bring warm clothes on which you are not afraid to get a little paint.
Indoor Competitions - This Saturday will be the first of many indoor competitions this semester. This one will be at South Walton HS. The complete itineraries for both of our groups is below. Percussion will perform at 2:21 and the guard wuill perform at 6:05. Tickets are $10 at the door. I encourage everyone to come out and show your support for all of these students!
FBA S&E - FBA S&E is right around the corner. Ms. Julia will be coming in at various times to practice with those students that have her as your accompanist. Please make sure that you find time to practice all Solos and Esembles. Students will need to organize practice sessions either before school, after school, or at homes. Please make sure you talk to me about any planned after school practices so I can plan as well. We should have the performance schedule soon.
