New Leadership Team - Congratulations to the new 2024-25 Leadership Team. We will have our first meeting tomorrow (Monday) at 4pm in the band room. We will be discussing the itinerary for the leadership camp on May 25th as well.

Step-off Rehearsal - ALL NEW AND RETURNING STUDENTS: Wednesday at 6pm-8:30, we will have our first rehearsal of the 2024-25 marching band. We are excited to welcome all of our new and returning members under one roof for the first time. Please make sure you bring your instruments. We will proved all marching instruments (bari saxes, percussion, sousaphones, euphoniums, mellophones). We will issue lockers and music during this rehearsal. Wear comfortable clothes as we will be going outside at a point during this rehearsal. Parents are welcome to stick around and listen, however, there will be very limited room in the band room that evening.
Percussion Auditions - This Monday at 6pm, we will hold percussion auditions. All percussionists will need to be in attendance.
Wind Auditions - All wind and jazz auditions are due on Saturday, May 25th. Please CLICK HERE for more info. We have already started receiving uploads and thank you to those students. Please don't wait until the 25th to upload your audition. We will answer any questions you have about how to do this during the Wednesday rehearsal and rookie camp. CLICK HERE for the Jazz audition info.
Rookie Camp - Rookie Camp is just around the corner. All new students and leadership are required to attend. This will be May 28th-31st 8am-Noon We will be outside each day so please plan accordingly in regards to temperatures. ALL NEW STUDENTS must attend all 4 days. Returning members are encouraged to attend as well. We will have Rookie Camp rain or shine. We do have contingencies to be inside if the weather does not cooperate.
New/Returning Parent Info Meeting - We will have a new/returning parent info meeting on Thursday, May 23th at 6pm in the Band Hall. All parents, please make plans to attend. We will be going over everything you need to know about the MHS Band and also answer any questions you may have. We also really want to meet all of you and help you in any way we can with this transition to MHS :-)
CutTime - Starting next weekend, we will be using the CutTime app exclusively. At this point, all info has been transferred over to CutTime from Charms including financial info. CutTime will be uploading our calendar soon as well. More info on this will be presented soon. All online payments will now be made through CutTime. Of course, we still accept cash or check.
