Hello All,
We will be taking our full marching and section pictures this Tuesday in the football stadium at 5pm. All marching band students will need to be in their full uniforms minus helmets by 5pm in the band room to line up for the picture. Make sure you bring a change of clothes as we will begin rehearsal immediately following the picture.
This Friday is an AWAY game vs Gulf Breeze HS. Please see itinerary below. If you would like to help chaperone, please CLICK HERE.
We are less than 2 weeks away from our first competition. The Blackwater Classic will kickoff competition season next Saturday, October 6th. If you have not done so already, please consider signing up to help. There are all types of ways you can volunteer at the BC. Without your help, this marching band festival will not be a success like it has been the past 2 years. We will have a walk-through meeting with all volunteers on Thursday, October 4th at 6:45. Please make plans to attend. We are especially in need of help at the concessions. We will be serving a lot of bands and guests that night! Click the links below to sign up:

Here is the working itinerary for the BC for our students. There is a chance that I will be moving our rehearsal from 9am to 10am. I will let you know for certain later this week:
9am-11am - Practice
11am-3pm - Lunch/Final Preparations for Festival
2:15 - Symphonic Band Meet in Full Uniform for National Anthem
2:50 - All Bands meet in stadium assigned seating (Wear Show Shirts)/Symphonic Band perform National Anthem
3pm-7:45 - Watch bands and eat at concessions (Bring Money)
7:45 - Meet in band room and get dressed in full uniform.
8:30-9pm - Warm-up
9:10pm - Perform
9:30 - Watch The USM Pride of Mississippi
9:55-10:30 - Award Ceremony
11pm - Dismiss

We are still waiting on our performance time to be post for FBA on Saturday, October 13 at Ft. Walton Beach HS. I will put that itinerary out as soon as we hear something as well.
We do have a working performance schedule for the Emerald Coast Marching Band Competition at Choctaw HS on Saturday, October 20th. So far, we are performing at 7:15pm. As soon as we get a solid performance schedule, I will send out an itinerary for this as well.
