I hope all of you are doing well! Thank you all so much for continuing to push through this fall season! Everything you have done has touched this community in so many positive ways. Be it performing in the stands, helping at concessions at games or at the farm, or simply being their for each other and supporting every one of our MB&G family! Thank you all.
CONCERT THIS THURSDAY - We want to invite one and all to the MHS Gym this Thursday for the very first fall concert Spootacular! This is a free concert beginning at 6:30. We ask that all participants wear masks and socially distance as feasible. We will have both sides of the gym bleachers pulled out so we can space people out as much as possible. We will also be live streaming this concert to our YouTube page at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2Xl24I9cUo. Please support all of our wonderful students who have prepared for this concert just for you! Students, please look through the full itinerary below for times and what to wear.
Rhodes Parade Friday - The Marching Band will be performing a parade for the students at Rhodes ES this Friday at 12:30. All marching band students will need to meet at the band room at noon. You may either dress in a costume or wear a band shirt with blue jeans/shorts. We will walk over to Rhodes and set up. The parade will go around their track. After we get done, we will walk back to the band room and put everything up. All marching band students will need to plan to eat at 3rd lunch either in the cafeteria or in the band room.
Uniforms - Thank you all so much for your diligence in ordering your uniform parts! I know several of you were waiting on your bibbers to be delivered. Hopefully these have made it or are in transit to be delivered this week. WE WILL BE IN FULL UNIFORM FOR THE GAME THIS FRIDAY! Please make sure you communicate with Bandshoppe or Bando Shoes for any delays. We will not be wearing helmets or gloves this year. Guard members will need to secure black leggings with your current band shirt for this Friday. Managers will continue to wear the normal band shirt with blue jeans.
Please make sure you look through the calendar very carefully, especially this week and next week as we are entering a very busy couple of weeks. We will have more communication as this week progresses about various sign-ups and other items.
That is all for now. I hope you have a marvelous week!
