BAND CAMP IS HERE!!! :-D
That's right, we are starting the most important 2 weeks of marching season! We will start putting our show on the field each day as work out all the routines and music. On my last email, I stated that we will be using individual coordinate sheets. We have gone ahead and bought 250 plastic name badges with lanyards for each student to hold their coordinate sheets. They are responsible for bringing these to every marching rehearsal. We need everyone in tip-top shape and present everyday for camp. You will also need to make sure that you have the proper rehearsal uniform for the outside portions. Mostly white shirt, nonfluorescent shorts, and tennis shoes is the uniform.
Parents, we would love to have you out as well if you can make it. You'll notice a few volunteer opportunities during camp including the medical tent as well as Band Camp Cafe for lunch and dinner. Please sign up on Charms if you would like to help.
The car wash is the Saturday as well. Students will sign up this week. Parents, there are still open spots to fill. Right now, no one is signed up for either shift at the Signcrafters location. Also, no one is signed up for the afternoon shift at the Avalon Baptist location. You can sign up directly by clickingHERE. Remember, this does go towards the BPA incentive for the fair share fees.
The Preview show in just around the corner on Thursday, July 28th at 7pm at the band practice field. Please get the word out to all you know. This is a free event and we will be serving food afterwards.
