Hello All,
Here are all of the events so far this week:
Last week's game - Great job to all of our students for their performances this past Friday. This was the first time the MB&G has performed the halftime show in over a month. I will be uploading the videos at some point today for everyone to see.
Catholic Game this week - We will perform at our first away game in almost 2 years this Friday at Catholic HS. All of the times are below. We will continue to wear our summer uniform for this. PARENTS, we do need help chaperoning and driving the band truck. If you have been approved by the SRC school board and have gone through the training with Mr. Weaver, you are eligible to sign up using the yellow helping hand symbol on our band calendar. Rebecca Justice is our head chaperone. She will contact you after you sign up to let you know if you are a go for this Friday.
FSU Trip - This trip is fast approaching. It will be on Saturday, September 11th. We have received several questions about how much the students will need to pay for this trip. This is a replacement for the band lock-in which was already placed in the overall band budget which is a part of the band fair share. There is no additional cost for this trip outside of the fair share already owed. You will need to bring money for food. We will eat lunch at Governor's Square Mall and dinner in the stadium concessions. You also might want to consider money for merchandise. Mr. Weaver and Rebecca Justice are both coordinating the chaperones for this trip.
Show shiRt Designs - This is just a reminder that Show ShiRt designs are due Monday ;-)
