Hello All,
WHAT A BAND! That's all I can say. Outstanding job to all of our students in the Mighty Black & Gold Marching Band this past Saturday at the FBA Marching MPA. A Superior performance on the field earned our students straight SUPERIOR ratings! We cannot be more proud of all of you in our second week of competition. Great job band! Also, thank you so much to all of our parents for helping us out this weekend as well.
Now we are in our final week of competition. I have attached a copy of the complete performance and the itinerary is below. Please note that we will not be rehearsing Saturday morning, however, we will be meeting at 1:30 to stretch and go over any last minute details for the day. Please make sure you eat lunch BEFORE we leave and bring money for concessions when we get there.
The Santa Rosa County Marching Band Exhibition this year has been canceled. Right now, there are no plans to reschedule this event. In a nutshell, the directors met after FBA and a few of them expressed how much they needed to spend that night practicing for the various performances this Saturday.
This weekend the BPA will be selling concessions at the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival in Niceville. This is a huge 3 day event and lots of help is needed. If you would like to help out, please sign-up using the links below:

Mark your calendars for the annual "Bring the Heat" Battle of the Bands at Whataburger in Pace next Monday at 6:30pm. We need to get as many people there as possible as attendance gives us points. We still do not know who will be eating the jalapenos, but I do know you will see some very familiar faces.
Finally, Seniors next Friday is Band/ROTC Senior night. This is also the Pace vs Milton game. I will be handing you a form this week to fill out and turn in. Please stat getting in touch with any family you would like to join you on the field and make sure they can make it. Yes, they will need to purchase a ticket for the game.
