Blackwater Classic - WOW! THANK YOU! AMAZING JOB! These are just some of the many words that come to mind thinking about BC 2021. All of you are such amazing people. From the students performing their tales off on the field, to the parent volunteering their time and sweat to keep everything running smooth. Everyone truly showed what means when we say TOGETHER we are the MB&G! We will have a recap of everything financially soon from the BPA. Our students earned straight Superior ratings. Beyond that, they really had an awesome performance. If you missed it, you can watch the video HERE.
Homecoming Week - This week is full of events almost every day. Make sure you look through the itineraries below carefully with times along with what to wear.
Homecoming Parade - We are in need of chaperones to help walk along the band during the parade to help with crowd control and possibly water. IF you are interested, please click the yellow helping hand symbol on the calendar.
Homecoming Game - This Friday, we will host our future MB&G family from Hobbs MS during the first half of the game. There will also be special HC events during halftime. Because of those events, we will either perform our halftime show at pregame or at post game. We will let everyone no ASAP this week.
FBA - This Saturday is the FBA Marching MPA at Ft. Walton Beach High School. The schedule is below. Please note that we will be sending a bus back early for those students that are participating with the HC dance. We will also be leaving at the dinner break at 5:30 to come back to MHS. This is the most important performance for marching season as it is our state evaluation.
Sweet Seasons - Over the next month, the BPA will be selling concessions at Sweet Seasons Farms in north Milton on each Saturday and Sunday. We need parents to help with this. You will find these events are fun and the location is beautiful! All you have to do is go to each event and click on the yellow helping hand symbol to sign up.
Marching Band Pics - We will be having our full marching band and section pics taken next Tuesday, October 12th 4pm-5:30. We will not have a rehearsal that night as originally scheduled since we will be taking pics instead. We will be in full uniform for these.
