Hello All,
All-County - I want to invite everyone to the SRC All-County concert this Saturday at Pace Assembly of God at 2pm. This is a FREE concert featuring the top musicians in Santa Rosa County for middle and high schools. Come on out and share the experience of two wonderful performances.
MHSPBPA Meeting - I encourage everyone to come out to the monthly MHSBPA Meeting this Tuesday in Room 131 of Math West. We will be going over a lot of information with recent happenings with the band as well as upcoming opportunities with the BPA. I will be discussing the latest event in the MHS band and a little bit of the band trip info.
Individual band pics - This Tuesday and Wednesday, Kay Brown Photography will be here to take individual band pictures. Students were given order forms last week. Students will need to bring their bibbers and gloves for these pics.
Marching Band pics - We will be retaking the full marching band picture on Monday, January 29th at 4pm. All marching band students will need to make plans to be there for this pic. Students will need their FULL UNIFORM, including helmets.
South Walton Indoor Competition - Next Saturday, Feb. 3rd, is the first indoor competition of the season. This will be at South Walton HS. Both Winterguard as well as the Indoor Percussion will be in performance. Tickets are $10 at the door. Here is the itinerary for the Winterguard:
8-11 AM - Rehearsal
11 AM - 2 PM - Eat lunch and prepare
2 PM - Leave for South Walton HS
4 PM-ish - Arrive, watch guards
5:42 PM - Warm-up
6:05 PM - PERFORM!!
9 PM - Fan favorites award and dance party
11 PM-ish - Arrive back at Milton
IP itinerary is TBD
Band Trip Cozumel Excursion - The Cozumel Excursion has been opened on your GTN Account. You will need to log-in to your GTN account, then click the Add-on button, then click the check mark to add the excursion. This is once again, OPTIONAL. This will stay open until Tuesday, January 23rd. This excursion is $80 and includes:
Catamaran to Isla Pasion
Mexican buffet consisting of fish, chicken, tacos, fajitas, and guacamole.
Domestic Beverages: Water, soft drinks
Beach chairs and umbrellas.
Kayaks.
Inflatable water toys.
