The sound of a yellow bus is heard in the distance traversing the roads of a neighborhood. A gathering of people is taking place on benches and around the buildings. You hear the screeching of brakes as the school zone flashers suddenly become active again. At that moment you realize, IT"S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!
Well indeed it is back to the old grind for the 2015-16 school year. I would say I hope you enjoyed having nothing to do this summer, but we all know that we were definitely active! I know you are looking forward to meeting your other teachers and we are looking forward to seeing your bright and shiny faces again. Just a note to Jazz band and anyone in Mr. or Mrs. Weaver's 4th period class, you have 1st lunch this year so make sure after 3rd period, you go straight to lunch. Everyone else will know their lunch assignment 1st period.
Here is the schedule for the week:
Monday
- First Day of School (NO REHEARSAL)
Tuesday
- Full Band Rehearsal 6pm - 9:30pm
Thursday
- W.S. Neal vs Milton at home
- 5:30pm - Call time/uniform check
- 6:15ish - March-in
- 7pm - kick-off
- 11pmish - Dismiss
- There are still plenty of spots left for this game if you would like to volunteer either at the concession stand or chaperoning.
